Scandinavian coat care? This dog shampoo is fluffin’ fabulous

One of our all-time favourite brands is the Danish label Nocat Studio, or as they call it, Nordic luxury for dogs. And honestly, that’s exactly what it is. We’re not sponsored (we wish!) but this brand just feels right. The bottles look super stylish. We’re big fans of clean design and these products definitely deserve a spot on the bathroom shelf. The scents are on another level. They’re fresh, subtle and totally cuddle-approved. What’s not to love? And the best part is, everything is clean beauty. Vegan, non-toxic, cruelty-free and made with respect for the planet. No wonder Nocat Studio has been a permanent fixture in our bathroom for over three years.

What we love most is how gentle the products are. Especially for dogs with sensitive skin like doodles, that makes all the difference. The collection is nice and simple. There’s a nourishing shampoo and a 3-in-1 spray, available in three scents: VAND, LUFT, and our personal favourite, JORD. It’s earthy, fresh and a little bold. Totally James.

We’ve gotten to know Christina, the founder of Nocat Studio, quite well by now. She’s incredibly kind and genuinely passionate about what she does. Her inspiration? Her wirehaired dachshund Otis. He loves climbing onto high spots around the house and most often lounges on the armrest of the sofa to keep an eye on everything going on. A bit like a cat in a dog’s body. That’s where the name Nocat Studio came from. Otis may act like a cat, but he’s all dog. No cat. Just Otis. And so, Nocat Studio was born.
